Pro Cheer Skins in Progress

Working on my second set of skins is WAY better than the first round. The process is the same...tweak, save, upload, and model, lol, but at least now I don't feel like I'm going in quite so blind. I've decided I'm definitely not much of a photosourced gal...while some photosourcing is great for things like lips and nips, personally I much prefer a softer, more hand drawn look. I've just completed the first skin tone with 4 makeups to test it with...now I just have to replicate the same style across 5 more skin tones, then make a ton of makeups! :D DO expect a huge selection of makeup styles for this new skin line, btw, as I can't decide which styles I like better...so I'm going to do them all! Though I'm sort of leaning towards fairly clean eye makeups without a lot of smudging below them, but am curious to know what others like?

Here's a pic in progress of one of the makeups...

New Release: Moulin Rouge Collection Pink Diamonds & Skins

Just released this evening are two new additions for the Moulin Rouge Collection, which I've been hard at work on amidst booth building for the upcoming fashion expo for this weekend and an upcoming fashion showcase I've been invited to be in (whew, busy bee, that's me! lol).

First up in this release...the Moulin Rouge Pink Diamonds outfit. This is a close replica of the second costume worn by Nicole Kidman in the movie Moulin Rouge in her opening act "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend". I know it's vain, but I really adore this outfit! Makes me feel so oppulent and daring and...naughty! Here's the outfit's ad, followed by a list of everything included in it with descriptions...

Included are...
** pink corset covered in pink fishnet with round and heart-shaped diamonds set into two large heart shapes and more round diamonds set along the shoulder straps as well as sprinkled over the entire corset; laced down the back to end in a texture-based bow; comes on 3 layers for mix-n-match options so you can wear it with other items for an entirely different look
** flexi rhinestone-beaded fringe skirt front with heart shaped prim covered in more round and heart-shaped diamonds
* flexi boa train with ostrich feathers dyed two shades of pink
** pink briefs for a more demure look
** lacy white garter stockings with built-in white panties for a more naughty look (replica of the ones worn in the movie)
** long white gloves
** single prim diamond wrist cuffs (replicas of the ones worn in the movie; made from a single prim to minimize possible lag, as full recreation of these would have totalled over 300 prims per wrist!)
** dangling diamond earrings (replicas of the ones worn in the movie, multi-prim)
** prim high heels (close replica of the ones worn in the movie, but with a few minor differences)

The MRC Pink Diamonds outfit is $400L and is copy/no transfer, with some modifiable items (such as the boa and beaded fringe skirt). To give this outfit as a gift, please send me a notecard in-world BEFORE buying the outfit so I can make special arrangements for your gift.

And to complete the Satine performance look, SPIRIT has started a new skin line called (what else?) the Moulin Rouge Collection Skins! These have the same toned dancer body style as the Ballerina Skins, but with custom makeups to recreate the ones worn by the actresses in the Moulin Rouge movie.

To kick off this new skin line, we have the Diamond I, which recreates the glitzy, dramatic silver and gray eye makeup and stunning red lips of Satine in her "Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend" song and dance act. Available in 6 skin tones (Lightest, Light, Medium Light, Medium Dark, Dark, and Darkest), each skin set comes with two skins (shaved and unshaved) with color modifiable eyebrows, and color modifiable "uh huh hair" on the unshaved versions. Also included are directions for color matching your SPIRIT Skins to SPIRIT hairstyles. Available for just $400L per set!

And if you join the SPIRIT Fan Group in-world, you'll get the SPIRIT Moulin Rouge Diamond I Skin in Light, Unshaved for FREE! Join the group for free, then look in the group's Notices archives for a notice titled "FREE Moulin Rouge Skin" to pick up this free skin plus the free demos for all the skins in this makeup style. Just my little way of saying thank you to everyone for supporting SPIRIT!

Ballerina Skins Have Come to SPIRIT!

They're finally ready! SPIRIT is now proud to announce the release of the first line of skins designed specifically to give you that professional ballerina look. There are so many great skins out there to choose from in SL, and not to denigrate any of them, but none of them had that authentic "dancer" muscle tone that I was looking for for my own avatar, as well as to model with SPIRIT's cheer and dance clothing releases. So after many many months of hard work and frustration, I am THRILLED to announce that SPIRIT's first line of skins, the Ballerina Skins Collection, are available in a brand new lower floor beneath the main ballet room.

This collection of ballerina skins features subtly enhanced muscle tone over the shoulders, defined shoulder blades, a subtly defined set of abs, and enhanced muscle tone at the front of the thighs and the back of the legs at the calves...just like real world prima ballerinas! Included in each skin purchase are two skin versions (shaved and unshaved), both with color modifiable eyebrows and pubic hair on the unshaved versions. They're also mod/copy/no transfer, so you can make as many custom colored versions as you need for those quick changes backstage or while shopping! :) I'm starting off this collection with 4 makeups specifically designed to match the recent Nutcracker ballet costume release, but I can assure you that additional makeups will be coming soon. So without further ado, here are the pics!

The entire SPIRIT Ballerina Skins Collection in all 6 skin tones, each named for a famous prima ballerina role (from darkest to lightest are Desdemona from Othello, Giselle from Giselle, Juliet from Romeo & Juliet, Clara from The Nutcracker, Coppelia from Coppelia, and Odette from Swan Lake).

Constructive feedback is more than welcomed, and free demos of all skins are available in the full view models within the Ballerina Skins Room (below the main ballet room floor)!
